I am proud to see John McKinnon works in my home town of Calgary,Alberta, Canada - his contributions there have been tested with time & duration. The Veterans Memorial piece is of particular importance to me - as my father served in WW2. John is exceptionally talented & exposes his expertise - in all the variety of (media) he choses to work with. Of particular interest is the snow/ice pieces - which lends its secret of 'play' - the true enjoyment & measure of an Artist; such as John McKinnon.
